After an incredibly long travel day, we arrived in Edinburgh. The morning was chilly, but the cobbled streets were bright and welcoming. The Royal Mile treated us like queens as we shopped for souvenirs and sampled the local cuisine. We took a break from the city life and explored castles set in misty glens and moody moores.
